This project is to carried out development of short meteorology-oceanography desktop study in Luwuk offshore zone, comprising of climatology, mean regime, and extreme value analysis of wind (i.e. speed at 10m height) and wave (i.e. significant wave height and peak period).
Analysis of extreme regime is done in order to predict the occurrence of a given extreme value. In addition to that, analysis of mean regime is carried out in order to describe the probability of occurrence or exceedance of a given range of magnitude. Such analyses (mean and extreme regimes) are applied to wind speed, significant wave height, and wave peak period.
