Analytical computation and numerical modeling of Metocean parameters are done in order to design a pipeline route between Pemping and Batam and the adjacent areas. This study was conducted in order to assist decision makers to do the construction.
Two main purposes in this study are:
1.To provide extreme magnitudes of:
- Wind speed
- Significant wave height
- Significant wave period
- Current speed
- Water level
At various return periods (primarily 1, 10, and 100) in representative observation stations along the designated pipeline route.
2. To provide wind-induced wave and flow field in the vicinity of the designated pipeline route according to representative wind and tidal scenario.
